Reviews for Samsung Factory Refurbished PN50A510P3FXZA 50" 1080p Plasma HD TV (Electronics) After owning this TV for beneath 2 12 monthss (purchased Nov 2008), the facility supply failed (Oct 2010) and required full replacement ($300 restore). The repair retailer indicated that the drawback of underneathsized power supplies is a known downside with these Samsung plasma TV's, alternatively Samsung didn't provide any out-of-warranty coverage for this recognized defect. The TV now (July 2011) has a black vertical stripe approximately 1.5 inches extensive simply to the left of the center of the display. Based on a little analysis on the web, this can be because of a failed ribbon cable, unhealthy connections on the ribbon cable, or a nasty panel that can or might now not be restoreable (we've no longer pursued our restore options yet). Based upon the lack of beef up from Samsung for a known defect and now any other failure of their product, I would no longer counsel purchasing this TV.
