I have purchased and tested 3 different Soundbars and examined all of the rest that will also be purchased... First was the Vizio Bar - Ok sound, but didn't produce an actual surround sound effect. And I was as quickly as able to max... out the volume at 3am in the morning with out waking anyone up... Needless to claim it ain't all that loud... Although it had simple one wire hookup with a fiber optic cable... Second used to be the Sony HTC100 with HDMI hookups. This one was liked for it"s ease to hookup HMDI components straight to it and it acted as a switch.
Reviews for Samsung HW-C450 Soundbar Speaker (Electronics) Bought this soundbar to go alongside with my 52" Samsung LCD. What an enormous development over the TV audio system! Watched 2 Blu-ray films with it already and used to be very impressed via the sound. It used to be very easy to hookup. Just used the equipped optical cable to attach the sound bar to the TV. Plugged in the subwoofer, plugged in the soundbar, fliped on.... and the sub was once immediately linked to the soundbar. It was up and working actually in minutes. The quantity of the soundbar can be controlled by means of the TV far flung so that is nice. You could or may no longer need to turn off the TV audio system. The downside with turning off your TV audio system is it is going to say "not available" in your TV whilst you alter the amount with the TV far off, however that can be a minor problem.

I actually have this connected to a new Samsung TV. When the usage of the TV speakers AND the SoundBar unit collectively it feels like you're in a cave. I use the soundbar exclusively now, with the TV audio system fliped off. My biggest complaint is that each every now and then the TV far off, and the SoundBar remote do no longer work. You can hit each howeverton on the soundbar faraway, or the quantity on the television faraway, and it does no longerhing. This downside does now not happen always, just randomly. It might happen twice in an hour or as soon as per week. Every every so often it also swapes itself from Dital 1 enter to the Digital 2 enter (which there is no longerhing linked to). This on a normal basis occurs in the middle of a movie, and once more, it is totally random. Most of the time I love this soundbar, MOST of the time.
